BETWEEN S U Z A N N E and...
When we go on safari with my groups, it's a real adventure: you never know who you're going to meet, or even what's going to happen to you. Every day is a new story, and African trails are full of surprises. Hours can go by without any action. Then, suddenly, the show begins! Antelopes, birds, monkeys, lions, elephants, insects, reptiles... When we see an animal, we say "we've spotted it! It's a sudden, short, dynamic and emotional moment, when time stands still. You can literally feel your heart skip a beat as you utter this phase! Sometimes the action is so fast you think you're dreaming. But no, the lion (for example) is really there! Then comes the observation phase. At this point, the excitement of the encounter subsides, and it's a real pleasure to observe these animals in their natural environment, in complete serenity.
By naming my agency "Spotted on safari", I wanted to recreate the emotion you feel at that precise moment on safari. People who have already been on one of my trips will understand: it's the best feeling. For the rest of you, come and see for yourself :)
Living with animals has always been a matter of course, and even a necessity. So that this balance that makes me happy can continue, I move forward a little more each day. I've learned that you get closer to your goals when you're standing on solid ground, and that you can't rush things. And also, that these foundations can be maintained and are not definitive. Stages are essential to build, consolidate and pursue your project.
Nature, its fauna, flora and ecosystems are my primary sources of inspiration. I also admire the rangers and people involved in eco-responsible tourism with whom I work on a daily basis. They give me new ideas, desires and motivation!
Balance, perseverance, diligence. We keep going, we don't give up. Of course, there are difficult days, and it's at these times that you have to keep your goals in sight. We take a step back, refocus and keep moving forward, even if today we may be going slower.
Yellow: for the hot African sun in summer and the golden savannah in winter.
To the present moment. I forget everything else. It's my passion and it's where I feel truly alive.
None in particular, they remind me of a whole beautiful period in my life.
A lioness: moving forward with determination, always ensuring the well-being of her troop and listening to/analyzing advice (not necessarily always following it) to improve day by day.

In my dreams... a lodge in Africa :) but in the end I'd rather build it myself, because I think the best satisfaction comes from being able to appreciate the work done.
I've started working out again, and believe me, it's a lot of fun!
Conditioner 1x/week and oil on ends 2x/month.
A headband with an African character, natural materials and a wild ambience!
